Worst experience ever. Totally ruined my 36th birthday Positive: Location was good. Negative: When I checked in the pool was green with a condom, a blunt and tons of trash including the pool table balls and red solo cups and candy wrappers. Contacting the host was a nightmare and when we finally did connect because they weren’t answering my phone but they answered from a different number they were zero help at all. This weekend was a heatwave and it was 120 degrees. Upon arrival the ac was not on so the home was scorching hot and so was the fridge in the kitchen. The ac eventually cooled down but the kitchen fridge never did and we had to use the outside bar fridge the entire stay. I had reached out to the host asking for an hour late check out considering all that went wrong with this reservation and of course I got no reply so we hurried and were loading our cars at 10:44 the owner walked up, no hello, zero introduction, just barked “you’re going to be charged for not leaving”. I stuck out my hand and said I and introduced myself trying to hint to her that she’s being rude and there are other ways to address a situation. I would NEVER stay here again, not just because of amenities and house essentials being broken but merely because of how negligent and rude the host is.

Very well needed get away and worth it! Very beautiful house! And so much room! Bathroom and shower outside was a bonus! Positive: Very quiet and great views. We loved the pool and outdoor dining and entertainment great for small family gatherings or just to get away for a weekend. We live in California so the weather was perfect for us to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend this place. And look forward to booking again. Negative: Waterfall wasn’t working. But they did send someone out to fix it, just a little too late for us to enjoy it. But overall the experience was great!

Disappointing Negative: The location was ok. A little ways away from everything. The beds were horrible. Tried to sleep in all of them to find a good mattress. Had problems with the Tv in the Main bedroom. Tried to get help but all that was done was they googled something online and sent it and it wasnt even the issue. I wouldnt recommend.

My family and I frequently visit Lake Havasu and often rent homes through VRBO. We’ve generally had very positive experiences—unfortunately, this particular stay fell short of expectations.Pros: The location was excellent, close to the London Bridge and the lake. The view from the pool at sunset was beautiful, which we really enjoyed.Cons: Upon arrival, we noticed the pool was cloudy and contained trash, including a soda can and leaves. When I reached out to the host, I was informed that their maintenance team had already determined the pool needed to be flushed, but that service was not scheduled until the following week. Instead, we were advised to use the on-site equipment to clean the pool ourselves.Another issue was with the BBQ. In our past VRBO stays, propane tanks were always provided, but here we were asked to fill it ourselves (the host did agree to reimburse the cost). Unfortunately, the grill itself was faulty—the gas line wouldn’t connect properly, and when we attempted to light it, a fireball ignited in one of my guest’s face. Thankfully, she wasn’t seriously hurt, though her eyebrows and sideburns were singed. Needless to say, the grill was unusable.Overall, the location and views were wonderful, but the condition of the amenities and lack of preparation made our stay less enjoyable than expected. Perhaps timing played a role, but unfortunately, this was not the level of experience we’ve come to appreciate with VRBO rentals.
