Quiet Nomad Retreat: Workspace|Near Arlington Park

Safety hazards need to be top priority Positive: Good price for an apartment rental. Good location. Negative: All of the furniture was so cheap and breakable. I am 145 pounds and I lightly sat on a chair in the living room that instantly had a leg snap and I fell to the floor. The apartment is so humid that all of the surfaces were wet and the refacing of the cabinets is peeling off. I am worried about potential mold growth if this is not addressed. The lighting was very poor and half of the light bulbs did not work. The curtains were not wide enough to cover the windows. The bed was so thin that I could feel the metal frame through the mattress. The check in directions for the door lock, lighting and parking could be improved.

Basic accommodations close to the hospital. Had everything I needed, but there’s nothing luxury about it. Still working out some quirks.

The unit is in a pretty good location if you want to be a short drive from the beaches at Siesta Key and Lido Beach. The issue I had was not so much with the unit as the management. I was shocked by how I was treated as a guest by the owner of the building. At the end of my interaction with him I had two police officers in my unit telling me that if anyone harasses me again to call the police department for further action.
